Training Is a Waste Of Time
Training is a waste of time if it doesn’t work for almost all of your employees almost all of the time to help achieve worthy business results.
The truth is, you are probably paying too much for too little – too much of your training is probably not getting leveraged into improved performance that directly addresses business needs and issues.
Statistics Don’t Lie
How much of your training gets applied back on the job?
It’s probably around 5% to 20%. Let’s assume it’s 20% and you are training 100 employees at a total cost of $2,000 each. The total cost for this training is $200,000. If only 20% of participants actually apply their training on-the-job in important applications that yield value, the actual cost of the training is $10,000 per trainee.
This kind of result is simply not acceptable.
Training Alone Does Not Work
